Donald has established a number of social enterprises in the last 20 years. Donald played a key role at the Bromley By Bow Centre in London’s in the1990s.

For over five years, Liz worked as Andrew's executive assistant and was also a project manager for AMP. During this time, she created and successfully secured funding for ‘The Bridge Programme’ which encourages able students from  East London to apply to leading universities including Oxford.

Rob has been the Chief Executive of the Bromley by Bow Centre since 2002. Rob served on the management board of the centre in the mid-1990’s.

Donald Findley

Donald has over 20 years experience with working in social enterprise start-ups, where he has specialised in innovation and development as well as helping to secure funding. Donald is currently a director of One Church 100 Uses CIC, a social enterprise with a pipeline of £10 million in under-utilised church buildings, and Brentford Hub CIC, a community hub.

For six years Donald was finance and development director at the CAN Group of social enterprises, where his achievements included raising the organisation’s turnover 20 fold to £4 million, creating two successful Mezzanine projects providing high quality offices for 70 organisations in the social sector and setting up Make a Difference Publishing Ltd, responsible for the Social Enterprises Magazine. Donald was also part of the team that won £100m for the formation of UnLtd – a key organisation that supports social entrepreneurs. While at CAN, Donald was seconded to the London Development Agency working in the development of strategies on Corporate Social Responsibility. Donald was also a very successful Coordinator and Director of Finance and Fundraising at the Bromley-by-Bow Centre.

Donald has received a number of awards for his innovative achievements, including the Dragon Award. He started his career piloting volunteering programmes for young people and for the residential treatment for homeless alcoholics.

Donald holds a BSc. in Physics from the University of Exeter. He is keen on classic boats and sailing.
